On the final day of the London Screenwriters’ Festival, the Super Shorts film festival drew to a close with the awards ceremony. I was tasked with presenting the awards to the film makers present, which of course was a pleasure. As a judge I got to see all the shortlisted films and one of my favorites was both a creative and technical marvel – “A Complete History of the Soviet Union as told by a humble worker, arranged to the melody of Tetris” – yes I know it’s a crazy title, but it is very entertaining.
I was happy to present Dan Woods with his awards, he and his team deserved it for such entertaining innovation on what I am sure was a budget very close to zero.
Well done to all involved.
Onwards and upwards!
